Why alter

A garment that fits is a different garment.

Fit is not a size

Off the rack, one measurement lands and the rest are approximate. Altering fixes the ones that missed.
It costs less than replacing

A hem or a taken-in waist is a fraction of the price of a new jacket, dress or pair of trousers that was nearly right.
Good pieces are worth keeping

The suit with years left in it. The dress from before. A seam is far easier to move than a favorite is to replace.

How it works

Bring the garment in

Wear it, or bring the shoes and the underthings you'll wear it with. Fit is measured on the body, never off the tag.
We measure and pin

Chalk, pins and a fitting right at the counter. You see exactly where the garment is going before a single stitch is sewn.
Pick it up ready to wear

We'll tell you when it will be ready when you drop it off, and we'll check the fit again with you before it leaves.

The shop

Se habla español: The counter works in Spanish and English. Explain the fit you want in whichever one is easier.
Sewn on site: The machines are in the shop. Your garment is not shipped somewhere else and back.
A door you can walk into: 3008 Michigan Ave, Kissimmee — open six days a week, no appointment needed for a first look.
Work clothes and wedding dresses: The same shop takes a uniform hem on Tuesday and a bridal fitting on Saturday.
